Setting a Default Workflow

Set Your Workspace’s Default Workflow

You can now set a default workflow for your entire workspace. That means when someone creates a Story without selecting a workflow, it’ll automatically go to the one you've chosen as the default.

 

To set a default for your Workspace, navigate to Settings>Workflows. Select the workflow in the drop-down at the top of the page. This setting will not impact any templates/drafts that were previously created.

To set a default for your Team, navigate to Settings>Teams>your Team. Select the workflow in the drop-down in the right-hand panel on the page. Once selected, there is an indicator to show which workflow is your Team's default. This setting will not impact any templates/drafts that were previously created.

Once you've selected your Default Workflow, the workflow dropdown will automatically display the most relevant default:

  • If your story draft has a Team selected and that Team has a default workflow, the team's default will appear in the dropdown
  • If no Team is selected or the selected team has no default workflow, your Workspace default will appear in the dropdown instead
